A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.

I am a freelance journalist based in London. My background is a mix of English, German and Spanish and I have spent 10 years living in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

At present, I work for various television and online channels, often with production companies, making documentaries and contributing to newsdesks. I am always on the look-out for interesting stories that tickle your senses.

From 2011 till 2013, I lived and worked in Libya as the Chief Correspondent for Bloomberg, covering the revolution, the first ever elections and the assassination of the US Ambassador. I was the first person to interview the only democratically elected Libyan prime minister.
In the past, my job has taken me to every single Arab country and many other places. I have a strong interest in geopolitics, defence, energy and the environment. I am HEFAT trained and have spent long stints in High Risk areas.

At government level, I have worked as the Director of Communications for the International Council on Security and Development and as the Director of External Affairs for the Saudi Government.
